1200W Four-MPPT WiFi Solar Microinverter with Four Independent MC4 Inputs

KU-OG-05-002

A 1200 W peak grid-tied solar microinverter with four independent MPPT channels, four MC4 photovoltaic inputs and module-level WiFi monitoring. Its IP65 enclosure, pure sine wave output and parallel expansion capability support residential and distributed solar systems with uneven lighting conditions.

1. Four-Module Grid-Tied Architecture

The KU-OG-05-002 is a 1200 W peak solar microinverter developed for connecting up to four compatible photovoltaic modules. Each module uses a dedicated MC4 input and independent MPPT channel, allowing module-level power conversion within residential and distributed grid-tied solar systems.

2. Independent Four-Channel MPPT

• Four Independent MPPT Channels: Each photovoltaic input tracks its own maximum power point without being directly limited by the other channels.
• Four MC4 Input Groups: Provide standardized connections for four compatible solar modules.
• Module-Level Shading Management: Reduced sunlight or partial shading on one module does not directly restrict the output of the remaining MPPT channels.
• 99.9% MPPT Tracking Efficiency: Supports accurate power-point tracking across the specified voltage range.
• 10 A Current per Channel: Accepts compatible modules within each input’s voltage and current limits.

3. 1150W Rated Grid Output

• 1150 W Rated Power: Converts photovoltaic DC input into grid-compatible AC power under rated conditions.
• 1200 W Peak Power: Provides the specified maximum output capability.
• Pure Sine Wave Output: Supports stable grid-connected AC power conversion.
• Regional Grid Options: Available for compatible single-phase 120 VAC or 230 VAC electrical systems.
• Low Harmonic Distortion: Maintains output-current THD below 5% under the stated conditions.

4. Four-Channel WiFi Monitoring

• Built-In WiFi Communication: Connects to a compatible mobile application and cloud-monitoring platform.
• Independent PV Data: Displays the operating and generation data of all four photovoltaic inputs separately.
• Remote Generation Curves: Allows users and system operators to review historical power-generation trends.
• Module-Level Diagnostics: Helps identify output differences between individual panels during system inspection.

5. Distributed System Expansion

• Parallel Microinverter Operation: Multiple compatible units can be combined to increase total photovoltaic system capacity.
• Up to 10 kW System Configuration: Supports distributed solar projects with a designed capacity below 10 kW, subject to system engineering and local grid requirements.
• Modular Project Planning: Allows installers to expand the number of panels and microinverters according to available installation space.
• B2B Project Use: Suitable for solar installers, photovoltaic distributors, system integrators and residential-energy contractors.

6. Outdoor Protection and Grid Safety

• IP65 Enclosure: Provides protection against dust and water for suitable outdoor installations.
• Natural Cooling: Uses passive heat dissipation without a mechanical cooling fan.
• Anti-Islanding Protection: Stops AC output when a utility outage or abnormal grid condition is detected.
• Multiple Electrical Protections: Includes grid voltage, frequency, DC voltage, current, short-circuit, overload and overtemperature protection.
• Isolated Electrical Design: Uses high-frequency transformer isolation between the PV and grid sides.

This microinverter operates only with a compatible utility grid and does not provide standalone backup power during a grid outage. Installation and parallel expansion must comply with local electrical and grid-connection regulations.
