A compact PWM solar charge controller available in 10 A to 60 A versions with automatic 12 V/24 V detection. It supports lead-acid, ternary lithium and LiFePO4 battery profiles, four USB outputs, LCD parameter adjustment, light control and multiple electrical protection functions.

1. Six Charging-Current Options

The KU-OG-06-003 PWM solar charge controller is available in 10 A, 20 A, 30 A, 40 A, 50 A and 60 A versions. All variants use the same housing, display, battery modes and basic electrical configuration, allowing distributors and project buyers to select the charging-current rating required for different off-grid solar systems.

2. Automatic 12V/24V System Detection

• Automatic Voltage Recognition: Detects compatible 12 V or 24 V battery systems.
• Three-Stage PWM Charging: Manages battery charging through staged control for routine off-grid operation.
• Low Standby Current: Draws less than 10 mA when the controller is idle.
• Wide Temperature Range: Supports operation from −35°C to +60°C in cold and hot climates.

3. Three Configurable Battery Profiles

• B01 Lead-Acid Mode: Supports compatible 12 V or 24 V lead-acid batteries.
• B02 Ternary Lithium Mode: Configured for compatible 3S, 11.1 V ternary lithium batteries.
• B03 LiFePO4 Mode: Configured for compatible 4S, 12.8 V lithium iron phosphate batteries.
• Battery-Specific Voltage Control: Uses separate charging, low-voltage cutoff and recovery settings for each profile.

4. Load and Lighting Control

• 10 A Load Output: Supports compatible DC lighting and low-voltage load applications.
• Light-Control Function: Uses a 9 V photovoltaic threshold with delayed switching.
• Automatic Load Management: Supports solar lighting and time-controlled off-grid loads.
• Four USB Ports: Provide up to 5 V/1 A output for compatible phones and portable digital devices.

5. Display and Protection Design

• LCD Display: Shows operating status, voltage and configurable system parameters.
• Power-Off Memory: Retains configured settings after the power supply is disconnected.
• Four-Way Protection: Includes overcurrent, short-circuit, reverse-polarity and open-circuit protection.
• Automatic Fault Recovery: Restarts compatible operating functions after the abnormal condition is removed.
• Dual-MOS Reverse-Current Protection: Helps reduce reverse current from the battery to the solar panel.

6. Current-Rating Selection

• 10 A/20 A Versions: Suitable for small lighting systems, garden lights, compact solar kits and portable charging.
• 30 A/40 A Versions: Suitable for compatible household, shop and small commercial off-grid systems.
• 50 A/60 A Versions: Intended for compatible higher-current battery charging projects and larger off-grid installations.

The controller rating must be selected according to the photovoltaic array current, battery capacity, system voltage and connected load. The solar-panel open-circuit voltage must remain below 23 V for a 12 V system or 46 V for a 24 V system.
